A very lucky graduate student of the University of Virginia in the States, Robert Stilling, found the unpublished poem leading to the First World War poetry of the poet Robert Frost, in a copy of his second book, North of Boston, in the university collection.
Stilling read about the unpublished poem in a letter written in 1947 from Frost’s close friend, Frederick Melcher, when browsing correspondence relating to the poet.
He went to the borrowing desk and made the wonderful discovery within minutes! The poem was written 88 years ago!
The author inscribed poem started with “flurry of bird war” and ended with “dead on a side track”.
How romantic!

Matt Lucas (famous for the TV series Little Britain) will marry his boyfriend next year. This is the first time I heard of a gay engagement. It is really nice!!! In a way, it proves that gay people are no different from heterosexual people, and fortunately they are finally equal in the eyes of the law.
Madonna has always been a woman that I admire. Her most influential quality in my opinion is that she never ceases to challenge the typical image of women perceived by the society. I agree with the journalist Hugh Wilson that most of us are just not comfortable with a strong, dynamic and sexy woman who is 48; whereas it is alright for the 62-year-old Keith Richards to keep rocking with the Rolling Stone, singing old songs whilst Madonna is churning out album that still breaks sale record.

For reason unknown to me, I have always been attracted to the golfing legend ever since his first pro game 11 years ago. He is the same age as me and a capricorn, my astrological love match according to one psychological test, maybe that was the explanation?!
What a shame he is married to a tall beautiful blonde
(someone won’t like this but day dreaming is supposed to be harmless)
Could you imagine he was this cute as a baby?! He imitated his dad’s swing when he was six months old. His childhood ambition was to beat his dad at a game of golf, sweet!
That’s it, I am taking up golf so I can make my own Tiger one day ![]()
